Third Culture Kids
Third Culture Kids (TCKs) are children that spend a significant part of their childhood living outside of their parents' culture. More and more children are growing up among many different worlds. While there are numerous benefits that go along with this unique third culture lifestyle, there are also some challenges faced by TCKs and their families.
Lauren Seaberg, our Lower School Counsellor, spends some of her time helping our students and their families to transition to our school and to embrace the TCK lifestyle. In-addition, once a year, parents are invited by the PTSA to support each other by sharing their own TCK stories in a day's workshop.
